Beyond the Journey – Best Integration Practices

Aychele Maximina is a Brazilian-born herbalist, somatic practitioner and psychedelic integration facilitator whose work lives at the crossroads of plant medicine, embodiment, ancestral wisdom and the art of meaning-making.

For more than 25 years, she has explored healing through medicinal plants, therapeutic touch, movement, meditation, ceremony and expanded states of consciousness. Her path has taken her across cultures and continents, including years of studying plants and their traditional uses in relationship with Indigenous knowledge and ceremonial settings.

At the heart of Aychele’s work is reverence—for the intelligence of the body, for the living world and for the ancestral relationships between humans and plants. She sees storytelling as an essential part of healing: the stories we inherit, the stories shaped by our wounds and the new stories that become possible when we learn to see ourselves differently.

Her current inquiry explores psychedelic integration as a practice of embodiment and perception: how we can train our attention, deepen our capacity to sense and bring what is revealed in extraordinary states into the ordinary moments of our lives.
