Ben Medrano, MD

Dr. Ben Medrano earned an MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Urban Underserved Track in 2014, prior to completing his Psychiatric Residency at Mount Sinai Hospitals NYC in 2018. Years of service within community psychiatry, including the East Harlem Assertive Community Treatment team, kindled a desire for greater impact and meaning as a healer. This led to his current specialization in integrative psychiatry, psychedelic harm reduction, and ketamine assisted therapy. As the former Senior Vice President and US Medical Director of Field Trip Health, he has extensive experience in the evolving field of integrative approaches. He has continued his efforts towards increasing access to ketamine therapies as the Medical Director of Nue.Life Medical Group while maintaining his role as Medical Director of Field Trip NYC and DC clinics. He continues to advise for Field Trip research projects and serves on the medical advisory for HealingMaps.com. In addition to scaling ketamine assisted therapies, Dr. Medrano assists Phil Wolfson, MD on the leadership committee of The Ketamine Training Center. He also continues to provide direct care at his private practice in NYC. His approach is influenced by in depth training in integrative psychiatry, psychedelic & ketamine assisted therapies, and over 20 years of intensive study and meditation within the Buddhist community. Dr. Medrano is a devoted contributor to the current paradigm shift in mental health and is passionate about the role of consciousness in healing.

We've rented a field about a 5-minute walk from the hotel from 11am-5pm on Sunday (the day after the conference) for people to come relax, get some exercise, and enjoy some play time before heading back to reality.

Games to Support Nonprofits

This year, we’ll be adding The Playground, an area with a number of games for people to play. Each time someone wins a game, they will be able to donate $1 to one of five pre-selected nonprofits. At the end of the conference, Wonderland will be donating lump sums to the five organizations based on the selections of attendees.

The Third Annual Wonderland Awards

Get ready for a night of celebration, entertainment, and connection as we watch the sunset over the gardens of Miami. The Awards will take place early Thursday evening and will open up with cocktails and mingling, followed by comedy and the awards ceremony, ending with music and outdoor games.
