Research has consistently shown the benefits of psychedelic-assisted therapy to treat existential and psychological distress in patients with life-threatening illnesses. We also know that chronic pain, often experienced by those same patients, can exacerbate the distress. Furthermore, it is crucial to consider the toll on their emotional and spiritual being and on the wellbeing of their loved ones. Given what we have come to know, it is time to take a psychedelic-assisted integrative approach that has been shown to help relieve physical and mental pain and enhance emotional and spiritual wellbeing for all concerned.
The purpose of the panel is to share successful integrative models and to pose the question, how can we do better? The panelists are experts in their respective fields with deep experience in psilocybin, ketamine, and cannabis therapy for those at end of life. They will share their holistic approach and how it has helped their clients. Additionally, the panel will discuss how psilocybin and ketamine therapy has helped manage and ease the grief of the loved ones “left behind.”
