Featuring Dr. David Mathai.
Our team of researchers at Johns Hopkins and Unlimited Sciences recently published results from the largest prospective, longitudinal study of psilocybin use to date (n = 2,833). In this talk, we will present new data from that project focusing on experiences of shame and guilt elicited by psilocybin. We argue that shame-reconsolidation is an understudied yet critical area for psychedelic research, with far-reaching implications for psychological health.
